Security Officer - Magnetometer Screener

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Perform entry screening duties such as monitoring access points, observing for prohibited items, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing individuals to the appropriate location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision;
Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, corridors, and perimeter as directed;
Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems when assigned, and communicate unusual activity to appropriate personnel to help to deter unwanted behavior
