** West Chester, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence within an educational setting. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entrances, conducting routine checks, and communicating with visitors and staff to support a secure environment.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Greet and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

+ Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, students, and staff in a professional manner.

+ Follow and enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to entry and access control.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any unusual observations to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
