Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically within healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing various owner contracts and project delivery methods, as well as ground-up construction experience. A mechanical inclination is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities

+ Work with Field Supervision to develop procurement strategy and bid package breakdown.

+ Develop and manage overall project schedules.

+ Effectively communicate with Owner/Project Stakeholders to manage overall project and resolve project issues.

+ Assign and delegate responsibilities to maximize productivity of the project team.

+ Create and implement a Document Control Process for the project.

+ Manage overall project finances and forecast costs.

+ Help develop project estimates and update them through Design/GMP.

+ Recognize and manage critical milestone schedule events.

+ Deliver safe, profitable, and quality projects on schedule.

+ Manage projects up to approximately $50 million.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly in healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

+ Experience in managing multiple forms of owner contracts and project delivery methods.

+ Ground-up construction experience.

+ Mechanically inclined.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore.

+

Experience with site development and blueprint analysis.

+ Skills in project scheduling, RFI management, and change order processing.

Work Environment

The position will be based onsite in a trailer located in Downingtown. This project is an $80 million medical fit-out with an extensive site package. The schedule is aggressive, with overtime required and projections for a second shift. The project will be fast-tracked, with a 16-month construction schedule. This opportunity is a starting point for a 10-year capital plan at other campuses in the main line area, providing significant growth potential within a large company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.11/hr.
