Tri Health Endocrinology – Primarily at 8040 Princeton-Glendale Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45069
Work Schedule- Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
- Day shift
- No weekend or holiday rotation

Job Requirements- Associate s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- For Breast Center positions, Certified Breast Care Nurse (ONCC) is required within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) for Registered Nurse
- Current Ohio licensure
- Knowledge of the specialty or population served
- Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team
- 1-2 years experience in Nursing
This position provides nursing services, either directly or indirectly, to participants in a specific program, specialty department, or practice. It performs initial assessments and regular re-assessments, provides ongoing nursing services, works as part of an interdisciplinary team, and focuses on prevention, early detection, and management of acute and chronic illness. If an RN from a physician practice works in an inpatient area, the RN will have the capability to write verbal orders, enter orders, pend access notes, and attend physician THC training as required.
Job Responsibilities- Plan care for participants and family based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes. Initiate and individualize appropriate patient care guidelines, POC or clinical pathways. Maintain current plan of care and develop short and long‑term goals. Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team by identifying caregiver and participant needs, recommending interventions, and collaborating with other health care team members for mutually determined solutions.
- Perform technical skills according to hospital and department policies, procedures, competencies, and standards of practice. Implement POC. Prioritize workload according to participants needs and requests. Base interventions on clinical data, desired outcomes, the nursing process, and standards of care. Document interventions and outcomes. Utilize critical thinking in daily care, including accurately receiving, interpreting, and executing physician orders.
- Evaluate the plan of care based on optimal patient outcomes. Document participant/family response to care including teaching. Collaborate with other health care team members to revise plan of care as needed. Supervise delegated care to other health care team members.
- Demonstrate organizational responsibilities: identify areas for self‑improvement, function in relief charge/resource roles as requested, complete assignments within scheduled time frames, facilitate effective learning experiences for students, maintain current knowledge in area of practice, and stay aware of organizational changes.
- Conduct and document comprehensive patient assessments with emphasis on health promotion, prevention, and early detection to plan and implement care directed toward optimal outcomes. Include health counseling and teaching needs in assessments. Communicate assessment findings to other health care providers as appropriate.
