UC Health is hiring a full time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery for the night shift at West Chester.
The OBSCU serves a diverse patient population and wide range of diagnoses throughout patients’ pregnancies, including but not limited to diabetic management, cardiac complications such as cardiomyopathy, preterm labor, preeclampsia, and more. The OBSCU is a fast-paced work environment in which each day will teach you something new.

Responsibilities- The Registered Nurse (RN) is an individual who holds a current state license to practice nursing. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The care is culturally based and age-specific.
- Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient in a collaborative effort with the other healthcare team members and patient/family within the time frame indicated by unit s standards of practice.
- Communicates formulated plan of care, as appropriate, to all levels of associates involved in the patient s care, and demonstrates ability to establish priorities of care based on patient s assessment and needs.
- Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment, and involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment, and continuing care of the patient.
