HVAC General Superintendent

Are you a proven HVAC field leader who thrives on complex, high-profile projects? Do you know how to run work, lead crews, and deliver results in mission-critical environments? We’re looking for an experienced HVAC General Superintendent to lead large-scale data center and critical infrastructure projects across the country.

This is a senior field leadership role with real impact, strong visibility, and long-term growth.

• Lead and oversee all HVAC field operations on large data center / mission-critical projects
• Manage Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews to ensure productivity, quality, and accountability
• Drive manpower planning, workforce deployment, and schedule execution
• Ensure installations meet engineered drawings, specs, and client expectations
• Oversee complex systems: CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, air handlers, piping, ductwork, precision cooling systems
• Partner with Project Managers, Engineers, Safety, and Clients to deliver successful projects
• Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA and site-specific compliance
• Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and final turnover
• Solve problems fast and keep projects moving forward

• 8–15+ years in HVAC/mechanical construction
• 5+ years in a leadership role (Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, General Superintendent)
• Strong experience in data centers, mission-critical, or industrial facilities preferred
• Deep understanding of chilled water systems, DX systems, mechanical piping, and HVAC infrastructure
• Ability to read drawings, manage crews, plan manpower, and drive schedules
• Strong communicator and respected leader in the field
• OSHA 30 strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel or relocate for projects

• Active presence on job sites
• Ability to work in construction environments (ladders, lifts, PPE, etc.)
• Flexible schedule based on project demands (including occasional weekends or extended hours)
