Description

• Participated in the configuration of 40+ devices, such as cellular routers; firewalls; layer 2 and layer 3 switches; access points (AP); uninterruptible power supplies, and other tools to streamline services at CNS client sites.
• Managed the devices' software configuration by deploying the command line interface (CLI) and graphical user interface (GUI) in building and modifying settings.
• Tested Fortinet/Meraki/Cradle points/Aruba devices for operability using vendor testing tools, i.e., Fortinet, Meraki websites and clouds, cable loopback, USB functionality, port configuration and signal verification.
• Evaluated issues encountered by network equipment to provide hands‑on services or process return merchandise authorizations (RMA) with device manufacturers.
• Administered conflict resolution by submitting support tickets to the help desk and collaborating with the technicians to resolve issues regarding equipment installation and configuration.
• Assisted customers in resolving technical problems assigned by providing guidance regarding software and hardware problems. Resolves and/or refers more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process.

Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change. Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly‑used concepts practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in West Chester, OH.
