We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and manage our cloud environments across a range of platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer's responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable, secure, and robust cloud environments, managing and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, and implementing cloud-specific best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud platforms
- Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
- Automate cloud operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, Security, and Development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions in cloud environments
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions
Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures - Assist team with administering and maintaining existing on-premise infrastructure
- Stay current with industry trends and recommend changes to maintain competitive advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience and/or relevant certifications)
- 3+ years of experience in supporting and maintaining cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Docker
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Experience with network infrastructure, database, and application development
Experience with monitoring tools - Experience with CI/CD tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell)
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Proficient with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
