The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the company’s Human Resources Information System, with a strong emphasis on ADP platforms. This role ensures data accuracy, enhances system functionality, and partners with HR, payroll, and IT teams to streamline processes and improve the employee experience. This position is direct hire and will pay between $80K and $95K annually.
Responsibilities- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot HRIS data within ADP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and system integrity
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ADP Workforce Now or other ADP modules used by the organization
- Process employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and organizational updates
- Create and maintain HRIS workflows, security permissions, and system configurations
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports for HR, payroll, finance, and leadership teams
- Analyze data trends and recommend system or process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support payroll operations by validating employee data and assisting with audits as needed
- Provide training and support to HR team members and end users on system features and best practices
- Collaborate with HR and IT to implement new system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies regarding employment data
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now or other ADP HRIS platforms
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment data, and payroll interactions
- High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in large datasets
- Proficiency in reporting tools and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Prior HRIS, HR coordination, or payroll support experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience considered
- Experience with HR reporting dashboards, analytics tools, or data visualization
- Familiarity with system implementation projects or HR technology upgrades
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to employee data and payroll
