UC Health is hiring for a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Pharmacy at West Chester Hospital. We are offering a $2,000 sign-on Bonus.
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. They work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and do not perform duties exclusively reserved for pharmacists. Pharmacy Technician II demonstrates higher initiative and specialized competency.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
- Experience: No experience required; 1-2 years preferred
- Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, quick response to emergencies, effective communication, and patient care support
Compensation
The starting salary range is $19.42/hr. to $24.01/hr., dependent on experience, skills, and other factors.

Responsibilities
- Procure and distribute medications according to policies
- Fill orders, prepare sterile and non-sterile preparations, and deliver medications
- Maintain stock and inventory accuracy
- Handle medication returns, data entry, and documentation
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of pharmacy areas
- Conduct quality inspections and participate in improvement projects
- Meet performance standards and support patient care
