Tax Preparer

Description

Our team is seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to support our clients during the busy tax season. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience preparing and reviewing federal tax returns, including forms 1040, 1120S, 1065, and 1120. This is a seasonal, full-time, or part-time position based in West Chester, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately prepare and review individual, partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation federal and applicable state tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120S, 1065, and 1120).

+ Obtain, organize, and analyze client financial information for tax return preparation.

+ Identify tax-saving opportunities and communicate them clearly to clients and management.

+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

+ Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the filing process.

+ Remain up-to-date on current tax laws and changes that may impact client filings.

+ Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and sensitive data.

Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in individual tax preparation.

- Proficiency in using Intuit Pro Series software preferred but not required.

- In-depth knowledge of current tax regulations and practices.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in tax filings.

- Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

- CPA qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
