Travel Nurse – Labor & Delivery (West Burlington, IA)

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in West Burlington, Iowa (Posted job title: Labor and Delivery – LD RN – Travel Nurse). The assignment begins on 06/04/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression or lack of dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after the birthing process.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care for newborns.

• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods.
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
