Critical Care Unit, RN
Job Location:
West Burlington, IA 52655,
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts:
Nights: 19:00-7:30, 36 hrs. /week
Must Have:
Active BLS (AHA), ACLS(AHA) and RN License
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all steps of the nursing process in accordance with established protocols
- Implement and monitor care plans for patients with various cardiac conditions, including but not limited to cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, or any hemodynamically unstable patients requiring pressors
- Use heart monitors to assess cardiac functioning
- Insert IVs and administer medications as prescribed
- Record and communicate updates in the patient's condition to the healthcare team
- Work history/resume
- Active IA License or Multistate license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
