Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa.
Job Description & Requirements

• Call Requirements:
Approximately hours in a 4-week period. Response time is 30 minutes
• This position will be four 10-hour shifts per week in addition to on-call requirements
• Delivers care to patients intra-operative utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delivers care to patients intra-operative, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members
• Effectively interacts with the surgical patient and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing
• Primary duties include but not limited to circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting surgeon and/or anesthesia providers
• Provides high quality care to the following surgical patient populations:
Patient of any age undergoing surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General, Orthopedics to include Spine, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology including c-sections, Vascular and Bariatric
• Clinical care activities and nursing services:
Circulating, Instrumenting, First assisting, Patient education, Resource nurse
