AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa.

"Clinic is 6 days a week - some OT is available.

TTS are 10-12 hour days and MWF are 14-16 hour days.

Must be comfortable working as the Charge RN

Machines: B-Braun

West Burlington – 6 Days a week
-12 Stations

Here is the with the RN in the facilities are expected to do:

1. Patient assessments pre and post treatment every treatment

2. Assist with MD rounding

3. Initial Assessment for new admissions

4. Ensure initial admission paperwork and consent for dialysis treatment has been signed by the patient

5. Review hgb results before administering ESA

6. Count Meds daily

7. Administer medication daily

8. Print Med labels daily at the end of the day

9. Enter physician’s orders as needed

10. Monthly nurse’s notes

11. Monthly medication Reconciliation

12. Care plans as needed

13. Assist PCT with set up, break down, and wipe down machines when needed.

14. Check Emergency Cart

15. Check AED daily

16. Stay until all patients leave the building

17. And all other duties assigned by NM.
