Job Details

Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our telemetry/med surg unit.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
Provides high quality care to the following patient populations:
Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime.

Job Requirements

BLS certification required (AHA or ARC acceptable).
ACLS certification required.
Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification as required for the position (RN license) must be verified through BON & NURSYS.
Completion of a basic dysrhythmia test out within the first week of assignment is mandatory to work on telemetry/med surg unit.

Schedule Information

Estimated work week 36-hours with possibility of overtime.
Position is night shift (implied by job title: RN - Med Surg/Tele - West Burlington - Nights).

TB Test proof of negative test within past year required; if history of positive test, additional documentation required.
Health Statement from physician within last 12 months required.
Unexpired government issued photo .
GRH Background Check within 30 days of start required.
GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
GRH Education Verification through 3rd party required.
GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start required.
Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor.
GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start required.
GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months required.
GRH SING check within 30 days of start required.
GRH Resume or Profile required.
GRH I9 Attestation required.
Varicella vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
Tdap valid for 10 years required; declinations accepted.
GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
GRH NSO and OFAC checks within 30 days of start required.
GRH Evergreen Link completion within 48 hours of offer acceptance required for system access.
GRH OSHA Questionnaire completion required.
Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement required.
