Great River Health has an excellent opportunity for an established, turnkey Orthopedic Hand Surgeon. Due to an upcoming retirement, you’ll walk into a turnkey practice with a nice balance of patients, strong support staff, and administration. If you like hand cases but still enjoy some general orthopedics, that door is wide open with this group too. The medical staff is described as having a collaborative, family atmosphere in a community with excellent schools and a high quality of life in Burlington, IA.
This role offers tremendous stability in a well-respected health system with limited local competition, while being positioned in a community with easy access to amenities and a bigger-city feel through a large health system footprint.
Responsibilities- Provide orthopedic hand surgery services and participate in general orthopedic cases as available within the practice.
- Collaborate with a team of 24/7 board-certified IM physicians staffing the hospital and STABLE nursing for coordinated patient care.
- Engage with administration and staff to maintain a high level of patient care and support for the medical staff.
- Well-qualified Orthopedic Hand Surgeon; ability to handle hand cases with opportunities for general orthopedics.
- Salary in excess of $900,000 per year with bonus potential; you can be as busy as you want to be.
- $100,000 commencement bonus.
