Join a dynamic manufacturing business as an Internal Sales & Planning Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in keeping orders on track, supporting sales growth, and building lasting relationships with key customers.
Duties:
- * Customer Liaison - build and maintain strong and long-term relationships with key customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all matters. Act as link between customers internal operations and external sales to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time whilst delivering excellent customer service.
* Customer Service – Develop an understanding of customer specific requirements so to deliver best planning solutions, resolve queries via phone, email and face-to-face.
* Order Management - Ensure incoming orders are processed in line with company processes. Complete contract review, ensure price lists are correct.
* Planning & Coordination - Oversee open order book/internal schedule. Ensure internal schedules are showing accurate and all required data. Coordinate with internal sales and operations to check customer orders/schedules are planned and completed according to customer deadlines and smooth workflow.
* Performance Monitoring - Report on time delivery performance for key customers
* Admin Support – Offer support to internal admin as/when required. Acknowledging orders, raising despatch notes, raising invoices.
* Sales Support - Identify new sales opportunities within existing customer base (up-selling). Visit key customers to understand specific requirements.
* Sales Admin - Maintain sales records (CRM) prepare quotations, follow up on quotations, manage price lists.
Key
Skills:
- * Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service or sales within manufacturing
* Preferred: 2 years in a production planning or scheduling role
* Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
* Strong organisational and planning skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Customer-focused, building trust and long-term relationships
* Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced)
