Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work with a well-established machining business near Oldbury. As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for to supporting the continued performance and reliability of our manufacturing operations.

The right candidate should possess a mixture of electrical and mechanical skills.

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manual, CNC, and injection moulding machinery

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively

* Respond to breakdowns and machine issues to minimise downtime

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and performance

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

* Work safely and ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures

* Collaborate with production and engineering teams across sites to support operational goals

The successful candidate for the Maintenance Engineers position will have the following experience:

* 3 – 5 year’s experience working as a Maintenance (Essential)

* Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings (Essential)

* Ability to read electrical schematics (Essential)

* Experienced with Maintaining & repairing Machining centres, Lathes and other plant equipment (Essential)

* Attention to detail with the ability to analyse, fault find and implement solutions (Essential)
