Maintenance Engineer. Wednesbury, West Midlands. FMCG Manufacturing Business

£47,400 + overtime 1.5x (Mon-Fri) / 2x (Sat/Sun) + Pension (7%) + 33 days holiday.

4 Shift Rotation (Monday - Friday) / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, 7am-3pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive FMCG manufacturing business who have a long-standing presence in Wednesbury.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of Maintenance Engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. Working within this close-knit engineering team, you will play an integral role in the upkeep of modern fast paced automated machinery.

• Planned and reactive maintenance engineering across an array of industrial, automated machinery.
• Mechanical & Electrical fault finding and repair activities.
• Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required.
• PLC Fault finding - Siemens S7-300.
• Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion.
• Working within a team of skilled maintenance engineers.
• Reporting into the Lead Engineer.

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience - mechanical or electrically biased.
• Formal Mechanical and / or Electrical Qualifications - Level 3+.
• Strong fault-finding capability.
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance engineering team.
