This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welder/Fabricator based in West Bromwich. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, using welding equipment to join or cut metal parts, and fabricating steel components according to project specifications. Additional responsibilities include performing routine equipment maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with other team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high-quality results.

• Proficiency in welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Skill in metal cutting, shaping, and assembly for fabrication
• Knowledge of routine maintenance for welding and fabrication equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in the welding and fabrication industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Physical ability to work in demanding environments and handle heavy materials
• Previous experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is advantageous
• Apprenticeship or certification in welding and fabrication is preferred
