Job Summary
Next Generation is recruiting for a CNC Programmer to work with a leading global manufacturer in the energy industry, based in Wednesbury, England.
What’s On Offer- Competitive rate up to £19.50 per hour on nights
- Monday to Thursday 18:00–06:00; overtime 1.3x Monday to Saturday, 1.5x Sunday

- Editing programs (G & M codes)
- Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Carrying out offsets & tool changes
- Altering speeds and feeds
- Running multiple lathes at any one time
- Monitoring cycle times
- Basic machine maintenance
- 3-5 years of experience setting & operating Doosan PUMA lathes (Essential)
- 3-5 years of experience programming in Fanuc (Essential)
- Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
- Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
