Location: Oldbury
A well established manufacturing client who supply into the Automotive sector have a fantastic opportunity for a Planning & Logistics Coordinator to join their team due to expansion. The role is on a full time and permanent basis.
Duties :
- * Customer Liasion - acting as a central point of contact, responsible for key automotive customers, internal operations and suppliers to meet customer demand requirements efficiently, handling everything from procurement to final delivery.
* Order Management - processing customer orders/schedules and coordinate the "order-to-delivery" (OTD) process from inception to completion.
* Production Planning - analysing customer schedules and working to operational targets.
* Performance / Supplier Monitoring - monitoring KPIs like (OTIF) performance and customer satisfaction, actively challenging poor service from suppliers when necessary.
* Forecasting - work with customers to accurately forecast on-going demand.
* Problem-Solving - responding rapidly to unpredictable supply chain disruptions.
* Material Planning - creating schedules and forecasts for supporting raw materials onto suppliers to meet operational requirements and customer demand.
* Inventory Management - monitoring and optimising stock levels, including safety stock, maintaining a balance to avoid shortages and excess stock hold.
Key
Skills:
- * You must have worked in the Automotive sector
* Essential you have experience in a customer - facing supply chain, MP&L or account management role.
* Ideally have production planning knowledge.
* Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
* Superb organisational skills & the ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
* Strong planning skills – ability to take customer demand and product ionise
* Customer driven dedicated to delivering high levels of service.
* Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced)
