Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Specialist to oversee IT systems, assets, and infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth day‑to‑day operations, delivering system improvements, implementing upgrades, and ensuring strong cyber security across the business. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will help drive efficiency, support business growth, and maintain the high standards required by our defence‑sector customers.

This is a hands‑on role with real impact from day one.

• Maintain essential IT operations including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, end‑user devices, and software.
• Manage business‑critical IT tasks and implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Enhance business processes and employee productivity through smart IT solutions.
• Research and evaluate new hardware, software, and emerging technologies.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for Windows, iOS, and widely used applications (Microsoft, Adobe, Google Workspace).
• Maintain knowledge of cyber security guidelines, standards, and controls.
