Monday to Thursday, 24 hrs a week – 13:00 to 19:00. The role supports the Trust Facilities Management structure to ensure that the housekeeping service maintains clinical cleanliness to National standards. Responsibilities include meal/beverage service, bed‑making, cleaning medical equipment, managing linen quality, and reporting maintenance issues.

• Undertake scheduled cleaning tasks, including cleaning of clinical equipment.
• Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control measures.
• Ensure domestic consumables are available at all times in appropriate dispensers.
• Perform ad hoc cleaning tasks as required by the Senior Housekeeper or nursing staff.

• Must hold Basic Food Hygiene Qualification.
• Good basic education – ability to read, write and basic numeracy.
• NVQ Level 2, BICS in Domestic Services.

• Experience working in a Mental Health / Learning Disabilities service.
• Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene, including temperature control and HACCP.
• Good communication skills to interact with a variety of people.
• Ability to follow clear instructions.
