Brunswick Houseis looking to recruit aSupport Workerto join their team.
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour.

12hrs over 7 days rota
-a mixture of hours from / /
We also have some 10/5 shifts this is all rota’d based depending on what suits the site for the week.
All staff work the mixture of shifts.
Due to a genuine occupational requirement, you will ideally hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for this particular role.
Brunswick House is located in the area of Wednesbury, in the West Midlands. Our home is located in a suburban area, off a main road. The service offers residential support for five adults, including those with a learning disability, people on the autism spectrum, and individuals with mental health needs. We specialise in supporting individuals who may be stepping down from a hospital setting, have complex needs, or require behavioural support.
Our aim is to support residents to gain the skills they need to live active and fulfilled lives in the community.

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you’ll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As aSupport Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
- Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
- Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
- Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
- Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
- Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
- Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams
- Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth

The ideal candidateDue to a genuine occupational requirement, you will ideally hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for this particular role.
Qualifications and Skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature

- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Ability to understand and follow policies and procedure
- The ability to anticipate and respond to challenges
- Competent in verbal and written English
- A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential
