As one of the UK’s largest independent manufacturers supplying to the commercial sector, my client manufactures fine chemicals and rubber accelerators and has a history spanning over 150 years. With their headquarters in the West Midlands, they are true pioneers within the chemicals industry.

With strategic expansion plans, an opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Stores Person to join their engineering team. Does this sound like the type of company that can offer you an engaging new challenge?

The key responsibilities for your new role as Engineering Stores Person are as follows:

* Engineering parts (mainly mechanical) ordering and stock control management.

* Goods inwards and outwards.

* Supplier contact.

* Data entry on computerised systems.

* Stock takes.

* Other general stores duties.

In an ideal world, my client would like to find someone with goods inwards and outwards experience and a background in the ordering and stock control management of engineering parts. An FLT license would be desirable; although not essential.

Regardless of previous expertise, you will posses excellent communication skills and work well both independently and as part of a team.

In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £29,000, for a 40 hour week. An excellent benefits package is also on offer, which includes 25 days holiday per year (+ Bank holidays), life assurance, pension scheme, medical cash benefit plan and a generous company sick pay scheme.
