We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in West Bromwich. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in commercial concrete, industrial floors, and groundworks. You will play a critical role in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.

Experience

Required:

Minimum 1 year

• Prepare and analyze project tenders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to determine the scope of works and project requirements.
• Manage project costs, ensuring that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Prepare detailed estimates for all phases of the project.
• Conduct regular cost value reconciliations to monitor project financial performance.
• Utilize Geogebra software and other industry-standard tools to enhance project accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in commercial concrete, industrial floors, groundworks, and related fields.
• Proven experience in preparing tenders, interpreting drawings, and managing costs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
