What the school offers:
Shireland CBSO Academy, opened in September 2023, is a unique institution established in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. As the country s first state school to open in partnership with an arts organisation, our academy offers an innovative, creative and inclusive environment where every student s potential is nurtured and celebrated. This is a rare opportunity to join us as our inaugural Head of PE.
We are seeking an inspiring, energetic and forward-thinking leader to shape and deliver a high-quality PE curriculum across all key stages. You will lead the development of an ambitious, inclusive PE provision that promotes physical literacy, competitive sport, health and wellbeing, and a lifelong love of physical activity. You will also play a pivotal role in preparing our first KS4 and KS5 cohorts.
