  Full-time, long-term, temp to perm Long Term Futures are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated and welcoming primary school in Oldbury, Birmingham.

This role will be working between 1:1 and group support with SEN pupils with ASD and ADHD, needing extra support.

The school is seeking a calm and consistent individual who can build a strong, trusting relationship assisting the pupils to feel supported and comfortable throughout the school day.

• Providing 1:1 and group support for Year 2 pupils
• Supporting students in learning and development
• Promote engagement, confidence and positive learning behaviours
• Building a trusting and safe relationship with pupils
• Encouraging the pupil to build confidence in a comfortable and reassuring environment.

Strong experience working with children with ASD and ADHD

Understanding Key Stage 1 curriculum and adapting tasks and learning to support pupils needs

Calm, patient and consistent approach to learning support

Strong relationship-building skills and a positive attitude

Ability to remain resilient and supportive in challenging situations

Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role.

Full-time consistency in one school.

A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.

Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.
