We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Brickwork to join our Construction team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical sessions, playing a vital part in enhancing the learning experience and success of our students.

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in both practical and theoretical aspects of Brickwork across a range of levels. You ll take on a teaching timetable aligned with your contract and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of teaching and learning standards. Committed to student success, you ll help ensure every learner enjoys a positive and enriching experience. This exciting opportunity may also involve working with external agencies, college partners, local businesses, and employers to support the diverse needs of our students.

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Bricklaying or equivalent industry-standard certification
• Certificate in Education or Level 5 Teaching Qualification, or working towards
• Experience of delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Proven ability to prepare and evaluate appropriate learning materials
• Experience of delivering relevant qualifications
• Knowledge of key skills/functional skills

To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£30,583 - £46,263), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:

• DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
• Certificate in Education
• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
• DET (Diploma in Education and Training)
• DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – there is eligibility for vocational subjects

If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£25,611 - £28,817).
