Your new role
A warm, community-focused primary school in Smethwick is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing Early Years team. The school offers a supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to give children the very best start to their education. The Nursery setting is well resourced, child-centred, and provides a rich mix of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be working within the Nursery provision, supporting the class teacher and taking responsibility for a small group of children during sessions. The role requires someone confident, caring, and proactive, who can contribute to a positive and engaging Early Years environment.

You will need:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Experience leading or supporting an EYFS group
Confidence in carrying out personal care duties, including nappy changing and feeding
Ability to work effectively under the direction of the Nursery Teacher while also using your own initiative
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
