-Ongoing We are working alongside a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Oldbury, dedicated to providing outstanding care and education for pupils with complex needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities). The pupils are at the heart of everything they do, and offer a nurturing, inclusive environment.
We are currently looking for 2 caring, patient and committed Teaching Assistants to join the fantastic team.
About the Role- You will be required to support pupils with complex physical, medical and learning needs
- You’ll be working closely with teachers and therapists as part of a personalised support approach
- You will assist with personal care, communication, sensory activities and learning
- You will provide a safe, positive and engaging environment for all pupils
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a SEND school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex needs
- At least 6 months experience working in the UK
- A compassionate, reliable and flexible approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A dedicated and committed consultant who will support you throughout your placement
- A friendly and supportive staff team
- A rewarding role where no two days are the same
