SEND Care Assistant needed for a School in Wednesbury!

£90-£100 per day

A talented Care Assistant (ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is urgently required for specialist school for children ages 5-11 with Severe Learning Difficulties in Wedmesbury. The position requires a patient and caring individual who can provide one to one curriculum support, help students with their independence, mobility and feeding, whilst under the direction of the class teacher. This will include personal care.

Any previous experience of working with children with Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties or transferable experience would be highly beneficial, as the school is an all-ages specialist school for vulnerable children who need additional support.

The school offers a friendly and welcoming environment and is very supportive.

To be part of this team you will ideally need to be:

• A team player

• Ideally Level 3 Qualified (or equivalent)

• Minimum of 6 months school experience

• Able to adapt to all environments
