Overview

Sacred Heart Primary School is a two form-entry primary school in Tipton for children from 3 to 11 years of age. The Governors are looking to appoint a Cleaner to work 15 hours per week, to start as soon as possible subject to the satisfactory completion of all necessary clearances. This is a permanent post over 52 weeks with an agreed annual leave entitlement.

Annual leave must be taken outside of term time.

• Provide a clean environment for pupils and staff under the direction of the Site Manager.
• Work hours:
  
  3.00pm – 6.00pm (Mon–Fri).
• During some school holidays, work may be required on alternative shift patterns; hours to be discussed.

• Similar cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Must be able to undertake safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check as part of employment requirements.
• This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barred List Check.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is an essential requirement for this role.
