Nursery Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate Nursery Teacher looking for a new role this academic year?

Flourish Education are delighted to be recruiting a Nursery Teacher for a Primary School in Smethwick, renowned for its outstanding Early Years department and nurturing learning environment. This role is available as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will join a highly supportive team of experienced Early Years practitioners, where strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and confident, child‑centred planning is highly desirable.

This is a full‑time Nursery position with full class responsibilities. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:15am – 4:30pm.

You will be expected to take responsibility for the teaching and learning of their Nursery class; plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. ECTs are encouraged to apply, as induction period will be supported for the successful candidate.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience as an EYFS Teacher
• Confident in leading a classroom of children.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management
• Confident teaching and planning around the EYFS Curriculum
• To be able to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant

• A competitive salary of up to £223.62 per day which equates to £43,605 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year (M1-M6 Paid to scale)

This Nursery Teacher role is based in Smethwick and has good transport links from Handsworth, West Bromwich, Oldbury, Warley and the surrounding areas. For those travelling by car, on-site parking is provided.
