Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm). Pay Rate:
From £89 per day. A welcoming primary school in Smethwick is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the primary age range.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom and during structured activities.
- Working 1:1 or alongside small groups to encourage learning and participation.
- Helping children develop independence, communication, and positive behaviour.
- Assisting with classroom routines and transitions throughout the day.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A caring and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in working with children.
- Experience working with children or young people in any setting (school experience not required).
- A calm, adaptable, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
