Role: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-time or Part-time available
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Part-time minimum of 3 days per week)
Pay: From £89 per day
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Oldbury (B68) is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term position. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs and playing a key role in their learning and development. The school is seeking someone reliable and committed who can provide consistency and build positive relationships with pupils over time.
Role Overview- Supporting children with SEN in the classroom and during structured activities
- Working 1:1 or with small groups to encourage learning and engagement
- Supporting emotional, behavioural, and social development
- Assisting teachers with day-to-day classroom support
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs (essential)
- Able to commit to either full-time hours or a minimum of 3 days per week
- Patient, dependable, and supportive in approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
