Overview

nGeneration are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Field Service Co-Ordinator to join our Field Service team. We pride ourselves on our service; as the first point of contact for our customers, your friendly and helpful demeanour is crucial as you diagnose and solve their IT issues or escalate them to our field service engineers, keeping the customer updated every step of the way.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first point of contact for customers and diagnose or escalate IT issues to field service engineers, keeping the customer updated.
  • Utilise software such as Google Maps, Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Support scheduling and coordination to manage field service activities and respond to scheduling and SLA conflicts.
  • Communicate in a polite and professional manner with peers and customers; work autonomously and prioritise own workload.
Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative role; scheduling or first-line help desk analyst experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Strong organisational abilities and experience working in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to quickly resolve scheduling and SLA conflicts.
  • Good understanding of UK geography.
  • Well versed in IT with an understanding of networks, computer hardware and Windows desktop support. Hospitality/retail EPoS experience is a plus.

    Skills:

    Ability to multitask the logistics of a fleet of Field Service Engineers.

    Polite and professional interaction with peers.
  • Autonomous Working:
    Prioritise workload and act on own initiative.
  • Geographical Knowledge:
    Understanding of UK geography.
Shift Pattern

3 days on – 3 days off, 12 hour shifts on a rota basis.
