Motion Graphic Designer

Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Team as a Motion Graphic Designer.

We’re looking for a Midweight Motion Designer to play a key role in bringing our brand and marketing campaigns to life through high-quality motion design. You’ll work closely with brand, marketing, and creative teams to produce engaging motion content that connects with audiences across multiple platforms.

This role is full time which includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required and inline with business needs.

Person Specification

• Experience in a Motion Designer role or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
• Experienced Mac-based Creative
• Solid working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Good understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling
• Experience creating motion for brand and marketing campaigns
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to briefs and timelines
• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly
• Brand & Marketing Focus
• Experience working within established brand guidelines
• Understanding of how motion supports brand recognition and campaign performance
• Ability to adapt creative for different platforms (especially social and digital)
• Awareness of marketing objectives such as engagement, reach, and conversion
• Supporting creative ideas, preparing proposals, overseeing the production process & execution.
• Highly organised and methodical approach to workload
• Confidential and diplomatic
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Right to Work in the UK
• Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender
• Knowledge of social‑first video formats and platform best practice
• Experience producing motion for paid social or digital advertising
• Basic understanding of sound design and music syncing
