We have a position available for a Project Controller to play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered with clarity, control, and consistency.
About the RoleAs a Project Controller, you will support the operational heartbeat of our Professional Services projects. You'll work directly with our Project Manager, Engineers, Account Managers, and third‑party partners to keep projects on track, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain a seamless experience for our customers.
This role suits someone proactive, organised, and detail‑driven — someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and who takes pride in delivering high‑quality work that reflects the INNOVATE standard.
What You'll Be Doing Customer & Stakeholder Support- Serve as a reliable point of contact for administrative and reporting queries.
- Assist with project closure including documentation, final invoicing, and handover to the Managed Services team.
- Uphold the INNOVATE commitment to exceptional customer experience through clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Set up and maintain projects within our software tools, ensuring data accuracy throughout the lifecycle.
- Support quality project kick‑offs by validating pre‑sales information and documentation.
- Maintain change logs, risk registers, and status trackers.
- Uphold INNOVATE project governance
- Track project budgets, forecasts, actuals, and margins.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely, accurate invoicing for services, licensing, and hardware.
- Validate timesheets to keep financials aligned with project budget.
- Flag risks early — scope creep, overruns, or misalignment with presales estimates.
- Support resource scheduling across the Professional Services team.
- Track utilisation, milestone progress, and schedule adherence.
- Work with procurement, engineers, and service teams to ensure all dependencies are aligned.
- Experience in Project Coordination or Project Control
- Proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships through effective interpersonal engagement.
- Experience using M365 suite;
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent.
- Experience working with technical and commercial stakeholders.
