Mobile Vehicle Technician - HGV​/LCV

Job Title: Vehicle Technician - LCV/HGV

Location: Wednesbury

Reporting To: Fleet Manager

Salary: basic from £42,000 p/a

Main Responsibilities

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including mechanical work
• Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
• Communicate successfully with teams where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations

Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours

• Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Experience in wiring and camera maintenance
• Car service and repair experience
• Full and valid UK driving licence
• Vehicle technical knowledge
• Great attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
