Management Accountant – MBP Door Solutions

Location:

West Bromwich, England, United Kingdom.

Manages financial records for the business, prepares annual financial statements and periodic management accounts, administers and submits annual accounts to Companies House and prepares information for tax returns for Corporation tax, PAYE, CIS and VAT. Additionally the role is responsible for providing any other ad‑hoc information required by the directors from time to time.

40 Hours, Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm.

Office based within a manufacturing business.

• Provide financial information to management by preparing periodic management accounts.
• Prepare annual financial statements, in accordance with accounting standards, for submission to the directors and Companies House.
• Provide relevant information in respect of the annual financial statements to the company’s auditors.
• Oversee and assist in preparation of VAT returns by the department.
• Prepare and submit forms P11d and PAYE settlement agreement returns.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Provide company secretarial services to group companies and submit all relevant returns.
• Provide relevant information to other government and statutory bodies, including ONS and the Valuation Office Agency.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

…and any other duties required to support the achievement of the Company’s objectives.

• Qualified in ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA preferred but not essential if ability/knowledge demonstrated by time served.
