Registered Nurse - Radiology Interventional

Position: Registered Nurse - Radiology Interventional - Full Time - Days
For this role the Registered Nurse will be an intraprocedural RN giving sedation but has anesthesia or ICU RN present when ICU patient is in procedure room.

This is full time - 5/8hr shifts, and also an on - call position where the response time is 45 minutes max.

GENERAL SUMMARY

* Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

* Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.

* Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.

* Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

* Acts as a patient advocate while utilizing the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal focused, individualized, safe, age specific care for all patients including those with complex pathophysiological needs and/or psychosocial needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* BSN preferred.

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

* 5 or more years of RN experience preferred / critical care experience

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

* Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
