About the Position

Deliver direct patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Provide continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring to patients with conditions such as  MI, CHF, COPD, stroke, and stable arrhythmias .

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the care team.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and patient families to ensure coordinated care.

Accurately document patient care, assessments, and responses in the EMR system.

Support and educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge processes.

Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

Float to other units as needed to support patient care across the facility.

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum  2 years of recent experience  in  Cardiac Telemetry or Progressive Care settings .

Proven ability to work with diverse patient populations requiring cardiac monitoring and complex care.

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Prior travel nursing experience.

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

Active  Registered Nurse (RN) License  in  Wisconsin  or  Multistate Compact License (NLC) .

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS  for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-approved equivalent).

AHA ACLS (Heart Code)  certification required.

Preferred:

No additional certifications required, though advanced cardiac or telemetry certification is a plus.
