STAFF RN AMBULATORY SERVICES, RADIATION ONCOLOGY
Location:
West Bend, WI – Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
Job type:
Full‑time (FTE 0.5) with standard hours 20.00 per week. Shift: Shift 1 – Mondays (every other), Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8 am‑4:30 pm; no weekends. This job is on‑site.
Job Summary:
The Staff RN – Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient‑ and family‑centered care. The RN systematically collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. Evidence is used to drive clinical decisions and practice. Goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs are established across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.
Safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability are considered in planning and delivering care. The RN delegates and supervises care in accordance with the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act, participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives, and takes responsibility for professional development.
