Location:
Froedtert West Bend Hospital facility, West Bend, WI. This is an on-site, full-time-equivalent (FTE 0.6) position with Shift:
1. Schedule includes two 12-hour shifts ) and every 3rd weekend rotation. Position floats to Froedtert West Bend Hospital and Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This nurse demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population in the acute care setting. The RN job description incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing:
Scope and Standards of Practice, 4th Edition (2021). The RN will navigate within acute care units inside their assigned entity.
Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of the acute care patient population are required. A minimum of 12 months of recent inpatient hospital nursing experience is preferred.
EducationProfessional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Upon hire, non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed RN experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher) nursing degree program. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 months of hire;
the degree must be completed within 5 years of enrollment (6 years if pursuing MSN, DNP or PhD). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multi-state license from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
