Overview
Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Your Role on Our Team
The Production Supervisor is responsible for one or more areas of manufacturing; knowing and implementing all policies and procedures, mentoring and developing staff, and ensuring all policies and procedures are met. This position will contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate teams in manufacturing to meet production schedules while ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives
- Orient, train, motivate, counsel, and assist team members in work instructions, production standards, and balancing workflow and problem resolution
- Perform supervisory and human resource functions (work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, performance evaluations/counseling)
- Assist in production scheduling/planning, quality, material flow and equipment maintenance
- Audit quality and safety reports and processes to determine causes and implement corrections to maintain standards
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team
- Assign work and special projects to team members to develop experience and flexibility
- Requisition resources and expedite as required
- Act as backup for all team members
- Contribute to team efforts by performing related tasks as needed to support overall goals
- Other duties and projects as determined by production and business needs
Tools you’ll bring with you
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of two (2) years’ experience or equivalent in a production environment
- Previous experience in machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding environments a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of production systems and techniques
- Ability to understand and use work planning skills
