Housing Specialist Analyst

Washington County, located in West Bend, Wisconsin, is looking for a Community Development Analyst.

Under the general direction of the Community Development Director, the Analyst provides advanced technical and professional assistance to the Community Development Department. The analyst will assist in the development, coordination, execution, management and evaluation of the Washington County Next Generation Housing Initiative and Coalition Partnership. The analyst will collaborate with coalition partners and other key stakeholders to implement innovative housing strategies throughout Washington County, working with County staff, local government partners and other stakeholders.

The analyst will also work with the Community Development Coordinator on the Heart & Homestead Earned Downpayment Incentive Program.

• Assisting in the development, coordination, execution, management and evaluation of the Washington County Next Generation Housing Initiative and Coalition Partnership.
• Collaborating with coalition partners and key stakeholders to implement innovative housing strategies.
• Working with County staff, local government partners and other stakeholders across all disciplines to create successful program outcomes.
• Collaborating with the Community Development Coordinator to implement the Heart & Homestead Earned Downpayment Incentive Program.

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, project management, urban or regional planning, construction management, public policy, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of one year of demonstrated responsible professional work experience in a related field such as housing, community planning, real estate development, construction management, mortgage lending, zoning regulation or land division regulation.
• Valid driver's license.

Starting Salary: $70,426.00 - $93,644.00
