Overview

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Production Assistants – Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.75-$18 depending on qualifications and experience. Must be at least 18 years and older.

• Review production plan
• Reading and understanding recipes
• Prepare, package, label, and date products according to company standards
• Maintain proper product rotation and assist with inventory organization
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
• Monitor product quality and report inconsistencies to bakery leadership
• Support opening and closing production procedures
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned

• Position requires frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting, with a maximum weight of 50lbs.
